I Ordered My 3G iPhone Yesterday
As promised, I ordered my 3G iPhone yesterday. Should be in my hands within 10 business days. I am really looking forward to it. I really want to start developing some iPhone Applications, and potentially crossing over to the land of Mac at least part time.
I want to take this time to let Microsoft know how disappointed I am with their Mobile software. Various versions of Windows Mobile have been around since before 2000, and Microsoft is still really far behind the competition. To make matters worse, the competition is relatively new. On Windows Mobile you still do not have a slick interface, powerful or useful enough browser, enough integration with web services like GMail, and the software is just overall clunky. I really hope that Microsoft steps up its game, or just bows out gracefully, which will never happen, I know. I really think it’s pathetic that Apple can come out with a phone and dominate the market in half the time that Microsoft did, and to make matters worse Microsoft had a huge jump start. Get it together!
