Interesting Website of the Day
Posted on September 13, 2007, under Miscellaneous.
A buddy of mine pointed me to this site, at first I thought it was just another all flash media site representing a media company. As reading through some of the literature I realized that it was a little bit more, and one of the most unique websites I have been to in a while. Check it out.
For those non-geeks, FF0000 is the hexidecimal code for red, hence the name: Red Interactive Agency. Another unique spin on things.

Internet Pet Peeves
Posted on September 10, 2007, under Blogging, Miscellaneous, Software, Tools and Services.
Recently I have realized that there my pet peeves relating with the Internet have been popping up more and more. My list consists of:
- Taking longer than a minute to unsubscribe from a newsletter. Do not tell me it takes 7-10 days to remove my contact information from a list!
- Making me enter personal information before downloading an application I wish to try out and potentially purchase.
- Linking tags back to your site instead of to information related to what you are blogging about.
- Full page ads.
- Using “Username” when it really is your email address you need to login with.
- Google’s safe search.
- Adding, or changing newsletters and resubscribing me without my permission.
- Comment spam.
Not meaning to rant, but seriously I have been noticing these and others more often lately.

Colin Hanks and Larry Page; Separated at Birth
Posted on August 9, 2007, under Miscellaneous.

Today has been a hectic day, trying to get some projects done before shipping of on vacation. Yes, Code and Coffee will continue during vacation; might be a little low key but I do not view this as work so I do not need a break ![]()
While reading some RSS feeds this morning I realized that Colin Hanks and Larry Page look very similar. Colin Hanks of course is son to Tom Hanks, and Larry Page… well we all know who he is.
Anyway, hope you day is going better than mine.
